Wednesday, October 11, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm: Library Quad
Over 50 agencies from our community will be on campus recruiting students for a variety of volunteer opportunities in the areas of health, environment, youth programs, senior service, homelessness and many others. Faculty are encouraged to bring their students to the fair to explore the many options available. Students can also earn units through Social Science 79 - Introduction to Community Service (1 unit).

The Influenza vaccine will be available for the general student population after Oct 16, 2006, as follows:
Foothill Health Services: M/Tu/Th 8:30-1:00pm and 2:00-4:30pm
Middlefield Campus: Oct 24, 2006 (Tu) 5:00-8:00pm
Student Center Oct 25, 2005 (Wed) 5:00-8:00pm

- Go to Health Services if symptomatic beyond 3 days or high fever (students only)
- Stay home when febrile or ill
- Frequent hand-washing.
- Avoid touching the face
- Sneeze into the flexed elbow, not hands, away from people
- Dispose of tissues
- Avoid contact with ill individuals
- Free nasal swab testing is available thru the Health Services and should be seen within the first 72 hrs of the illness (students only).
