Foothill’s First International Film Festival

Foothill’s International Programs office is celebrating International Education Week (IEW) for the first time on the Foothill campus. IEW is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to recognize the global exchange environment between the United States and other countries.

The highlight of this year's IEW will be the Foothill International Film Festival Nov. 13 through Nov. 16 that will feature a collection of award-winning Russian, Vietnamese, French, Indonesian and Japanese films. All films will be subtitled in English, and foreign language enthusiasts are welcome. Hors d’oeuvres receptions will be presented before each film. Admission is free. The Foothill International Film Festival schedule includes:

Nov. 13—Barber of Siberia shows at 5:15 p.m. in Room 1501;
Nov. 14—Three Seasons shows at 5:15 p.m. and Le Dîner de Cons shows at 7 p.m. in Room 1501;
Nov. 15—Arisan shows at 5:15 p.m. in Room 1501; and
Nov. 16—Dare Mo Shiranai shows at 5:45 p.m. in Room 1401.
