The National Podcasting System, a Mountain View company setting standards of video podcast production is in the market for at least one intern.
The perfect candidate will be expert in HTML hand coding and be familiar with all aspects of creating and maintaining a web page. He or She should also be familiar with at least one popular HTML page generation application (Dreamweaver, iWeb, Go Live, etc.)
Secondarily, we would like someone familiar with the Apple Macintosh, OSX 10.4 or later, and be very familiar with Quicktime, Quicktime Pro, and Quicktime Streaming. Knowledge of PCs is also expected.
Expertise with Flash is also a benefit.
The successful candidate will be required to spend 8-10 hours a week at our office making small changes and updates to our site, as well as developing custom HTML pages for some products. The candidate will also be encouraged to exercise their own creativity, by making suggestions for alterations to the site and demonstrating the value of those changes in proposals to top management.
This is a paid internship. Depending upon experience and skill, the successful candidate will be paid $12-$15/hour.
