COIN 82, Images for the Web - Online
Learn how to make beautiful and fast downloading images for the web. This course will focus mainly on images and graphics and how they look and work on a website. You will learn how to improve digital camera images, how to do basic color correction for all images, and how to enhance your images. Several programs will be addressed, Photoshop, Lightroom, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash, but you will only need Photoshop to complete the course. Explore all the short cuts and web techniques that Photoshop has to offer such as making a Web Gallery in seconds, creating actions to minimize repeated tasks, and using vector graphics, cropping techniques, sizing images, CLUTs and more. Bringing bitmaps and graphics into Flash will also be covered. You will learn how to design stronger web pages. Also explored are image compression, slicing of images and rollovers. By the end of the class you will have more beautiful web pages that run fast.
