** Wait List Information **

New Policy for Wait-Listed Students

Effective Summer Session 2010, Foothill College will have a new wait-list system. You will no longer be automatically moved from wait-listed status to enrolled status. Here is a brief explanation of the process:

1. If a seat becomes available, the first student on the wait-list will be notified by e-mail.
2. You will have 24 hours to register for the class. You will be dropped from the class if you fail to pay all fees within 5 days.
3. If you do not register within 24 hours, you will be removed from the wait-list and the space will be offered to the next student on the list.
4. You are responsible for ensuring that we have a valid e-mail address for you on file. Go to MyPortal to update your e-mail address.
5. If you are a wait-listed student and do not receive notification via e-mail, we recommend that you attend the first class meeting for possible enrollment as determined by the instructor. If the instructor authorizes you to add the course, complete the add process online and pay the enrollment fee for the course you have added.

Students that do not have their own computers may update their mailing and e-mail addresses at the Admissions and Records office or the Media Lab.
