NASA Web Intern position

A new position at Borland Software for a Web Developer has just opened.

Skills and Experience required:
  • HTML / XML
  • CSS / Stylesheet design
  • Familiarity with basic programmingconcepts
  • Familiarity with a web authoringtool like Dreamweaver MX
  • Familiarity with Windows andOperating systems Basics
  • Familiarity with website designand operations
  • Solid writtencommunication skills
Additional skills desired but not required:
  • Javascript
  • Familiarity with OOPconcepts
  • Java programming language
  • Windows Server operations
  • Webserver administration (ApacheTomcat)
  • Database and SQL experience(SQL Server specific)
Duties:
  • Provide support in maintaining theBorland Answers website (http://support.borland.com)
  • Initial duties would includecleaning up current web site content, reformatting articles andapplying templates
  • Website administrative dutieswould include reporting and monitoring content creation, monitoringwebsite health
  • Monitoring websitefeedback forum
  • Position would also be responsiblefor stylesheet maintenance and creation.
  • Position could expand to includeweb programming responsibilities.
