Now that the quarter is almost under way… here is the procedure to request to add an online class:
Late adds do not start until Monday Jan. 5, 2009. You will have to wait until the 5th as this is an automated procedure and I do not have the add codes you need.
- On/after Monday Jan. 5, go to the following url:
http://www.foothillglobalaccess.org/cgi/register/register.cgi - In the list, find the class you are interested in and click on the “Request to Add” button.
- Your request will then be waiting for me to approve it if there is room in the class. As people drop, I add additional students. Please be patient.
- Once I log-in and approve your request, you will be e-mailed the information you need to enroll in the class or if there is not room, you will receive an email that says your request is denied.
- Once you’ve officially added the class, Admissions and Records sends your information to Etudes NG, our online class management system and your name is added and you will be able to log on to the class.
- I will then send you a welcome message outlining the first day/week procedures and how to get started and enter the on-line classroom.
- This entire process can take up to a day to get you to the point where you can log-in to the classroom. The sooner you actually follow the registration instructions, the sooner you will be able to enter the on-line classroom and get started.

Hi Sandi,
On Monday, I submitted a 'Request to Add' your 70a Javascript class. However, I don't show being waitlisted for any classes when I check my registration account, and I haven't received an email from you regarding the result of the request to add. I attempted a second 'Request to Add', but received a message that said I had already made a request. So I thought I would check with you to make sure there hasn't been a glitch in the system and you haven't received my request. Of course, it may be that I don't correctly understand the connection between being 'waitlisted' and submitting a 'Request to Add'. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
