** Web Design Opportunity **

Here is an opportunity for someone who is looking for a small job:

We are looking for someone to add web pages to our site www.womensactionnetwork.org for a new project. Something that is attractive and is easy to navigate.

Sections would include a information and resource list, a calender of events in the south bay and a list of elected officials. Most of the content has already been collected. A small amount of money is available-about $1200.00-$1500.00.

** Grades **

Because the server was not available this morning, I am behind on grading and probably will not have grades posted on my office window by this afternoon. Please do NOT come to campus expecting to find posted grades this afternoon, since they probably won't be there.

They will be there by next Monday afternoon (assuming no unforseen circumstances, of course)...

I'll leave a note here when they are available...

Power Out at Foothill

The power was out all afternoon at Foothill and when I just checked, the Krypton server was still not available. Please try again tomorrow. I'll post a message here as soon as I know service is restored.

PS- pay attention to those warnings I've been giving you about making backups and preparing for server outages. Don't wait until the last minute to load your work!!

** COIN 70 JavaScripters **

Please read my post on your Forum concerning how to use a regular expression in your JavaScript code. Last night we were all so carried away with the excitement of learning regular expressions and testing them ;-) that I forgot to show you how to actually use them in your JS code once they are tested and working!!

There is a link to an example and a detailed explanation of how to use a regular expression, so be sure to check it out before you try to do the homework!

We'll review it next week too, in case you have questions.
