** Web Design Internship **

Jimdo is looking for a savvy web design intern to create websites for a variety of topics (think: wedding, photography, and small business sites).

This is a full-time, paid internship for 3-6 months in our San Francisco office.
What you'll be doing

• Create homepages for a variety of topics and businesses
• Write template text and information for each topic and business-type and add it to the site
• Conduct keyword research for these groups and start some basic online marketing campaigns
• Reach out to these groups and tell them about Jimdo

What we're looking for

• Web design and HTML experience required
• Basic understanding of SEO
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Solid Internet research skills
• Strong writing ability  
• Experience with Jimdo a huge plus :)

** Student Needed for Small Startup for Web Design **

A small start-up  is looking for a student who could handle creating a small website with three areas of interest.  They have limited funds to pay the individual but the student can "stamp" the website as being their creation.

Position 1

• The candidate should be able to update existing test cases written in JavaScript,Actionscript and/or VB script.
• Candidate must be able to provide accurate test estimates, manage priorities, and multitask well.
• Candidate must have good working knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
• 1-3 years of experience

Position 2

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a technical field
• Familiarity with other Adobe tools such as Adobe Flash Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, DreamWeaver, etc.
• Knowledge of development of web applications using JavaScript and HTML5
• Experience with JQuery, Lua, Webkit, Java/C++, JavaScript, or PHP
• Experience with software testing automation tools
