** Code Camp! **

Code Camp is a new type of community event where developers learn from fellow developers. All are welcome to attend and speak. Code Camps have been wildly successful, and we’re going to bring that success to Northern California.

The Code Camp consists of these points:
  • by and for the developer community
  • always free
  • community developed material
  • no fluff – only code
  • never occur during working hours
Sessions will range from informal “chalk talks” to presentations. There will be a mix of presenters, some experienced folks, for some it may be their first opportunity to speak in public. And we are expecting to see people from throughout the Northern California region and beyond.

Attendance is FREE, but space is limited so you need to Register.

Saturday and Sunday October 9th and 10th  2010

Parking Lot Closures & Changes

Parking Lots 2 and 3 are closed through Sept. 19 to all but construction crews who are installing new photovoltaic arrays in both lots. The best parking lot to access the bookstore is Lot 2A, which is located behind the physical education buildings. Watch for signs that will direct you to Lot 2A. Minor construction work will continue in Lots 2 and 3 during the first few weeks of Fall Quarter and fenced-off areas may be installed in these lots. Students, faculty and staff are reminded to arrive early and drive with caution. Be aware that the speed limit in all campus parking lots is 5 miles per hour. The speed limit is 20 miles per hour on the campus roadway. Speed limits are strictly enforced and citations are issued by the Foothill-De Anza Police Department.

Carpoolers be aware that the preferential carpool parking spaces in Lot 5A has been discontinued. The spaces have been converted to general staff parking. There are two reasons for this decision: Lot 4 will undergo construction in December and more staff spaces will be needed; and the carpool spaces were not utilized to capacity.
