** News for Foothill Students **

VT Vigil & Foothill Emergency Information Forum This Thursday

Foothill students, faculty and staff will hold a vigil for those killed in the shootings at Virginia Tech. The vigil will be presented Thursday, April 26, from 11:50 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. in the Library Quad. Students will light candles and display posters of the recent events at the VT campus.

The vigil ends with an information forum featuring Foothill’s Psychological Services counselors and Foothill–De Anza District Police from 12:15 to 1 p.m. in Room 3501. Students can attend the forum to get answers about Foothill’s emergency preparedness plan, and the on- and off-campus psychological services that are available to all Foothill students. For more information, call (650) 949-7060.

Tell Us: Take Foothill’s Quick Sustainability Survey

Take five minutes to tell Foothill–De Anza Community College District leaders your thoughts on how Foothill and De Anza colleges can develop better estimates of the colleges’ carbon footprints, and help quantify the relationship between current driving patterns and related carbon dioxide output.

When you complete the simple Sustainability Survey, you can choose to enter your name in a random drawing to win a $25 gas card from BP. Cards will be awarded to four respondents. All survey submissions are anonymous.
