How to Late-add an On-line Class

Now that the quarter is almost under way… here is the procedure to request to add an online class:

Late adds do not start until Monday Sept. 22, 2008. You will have to wait until the 22nd as this is an automated procedure and I do not personally have the add codes you need.
  1. On/after Monday Sept. 22, go to the following url:
    http://www.foothillglobalaccess.org/cgi/register/register.cgi
  2. In the list, find the class you are interested in and click on the
“Request to Add” button.
Your request will then be waiting for me to approve it if there is room in the class. If your request is approved , you will be e-mailed the information you need to enroll in the class or if there is not room, you will receive an email that says your request is denied.

After you’ve officially added the class, Admissions and Records will send your information to Etudes NG, our online class management system and your name will be added and you will be able to log on to the class. I will also send you a welcome message outlining the first day/week procedures and how to get started and enter the on-line classroom.

This entire process can take up to a day or two to get to the point where you can log-in to the classroom. The sooner you actually follow the registration instructions, the sooner you will be able to enter the on-line classroom and get started.

"See" you online!
